Quarterly Maintenance
REFERENCE: Quarterly Preventative Maintenance, Annual load
testing, immediate repairs or compliance with any regulatory
agency such as (OSHA, USCG, NFPA, AWS D1.1, ANSI, API, ABS etc.).
Every three (3) months or as needed we come to your plant and
provide all material, labor and insurance to do the following:
- Inspect crane for any excessive wear or defects.
- Lubricate all pivot points, sheaves and rotation bearings.
- Inspect and lubricate wire rope and sheaves. Check anti-two
blocking system.
- Check gear box and winch for the proper amount of oil.
- Torque base plate bolts and bearing bolts and all other fasteners
to the proper values.
- Check main bearing for deflection with a dial indicator
- Inspect the condition of the oil, strainer and return filter.
- Test crane for any hydraulic malfunction, record pressures
and load test crane accordingly.
- Confirm the load chart, angle indicator and function indicators
are visible to the operator.
- If any components need to be replaced or repaired, we will
get authorization before doing so.
- Provide 24 Hr. on call, certified hydraulic or electrical
technician.
It takes on average 3 to 5 hours for our basic service (note:
time does not include drive time). At the completion of the
work we will complete an inspection report, in detail, what
was done to the unit, also anything that might need attention.
We are both a manufacturer and service company and have a
complete machine and welding shop if necessary for completion
of repairs.
We stock seals and many different hydraulic components. We
provide service, repair and parts to most crane makes (i.e.
National, Pittman, Scott, RO Stinger, Grove, Galion, Link-belt,
Alaskan, Nautilus, Applied, EBI, Titan, Autocrane, Liftmoore,
Hiab, Fassi, Prentice, Telelect, Skyhook, Wilke and several
other mobile type cranes.)
